Class 1 - these are the most powerful and can operate up to 100m
Class 2 - these can operate up to 10m. Most mobile phones and Bluetooth devices fall into this category
Class 3 - these are the least powerful, operating up to 1m
Do I need an internet connection to use Bluetooth?
No, Bluetooth does not use the internet and does not count as using data on your mobile phone.
