SDXC (Secure Digital Extra Capacity) Memory Cards provide higher capacity and faster processing speeds compared to standard SD cards. MyMemory’s stock ranges from 64GB to an enormous capacity of 512GB, with 1TB and 2TB on the horizon. Ideal for capturing high definition images or videos.
Whilst SDXC cards allow for larger capacities and they will fit into any normal SD slot, they may have compatibility issues with older devices that do not support their newer format. Computers also need to be able to read the exFAT filesystem to be compatible with SDXC. Currently Linux, Windows 7, Mac OSX (Snow Leopard) and some earlier versions of Microsoft Windows are compatible.
