It only gets lukewarm under heavy-duty workload, - not hot. I therefore expect it to have a long lifespan.

Arrived quickly and was just what I needed to get my data off a computer at a firm I was leaving. I now use it as a hard drive for more than one PC and can carry my data with me between computers. It works very well, and of course has massive storage capacity.
