Transcend's DrivePro 200 Car Video Recorder features an advanced wide-angle camera lens that captures crystal-clear Full HD video, helping you gather reliable evidence of on-road incidents.

Wide Viewing Angle

The DrivePro 200's high-quality camera with 160° viewing angle and Full HD 1080p (30fps) resolution ensure every detail of your journey is recorded in high clarity as it happens - even when driving at night. With a row of 7 glass lenses, the advanced camera maximises sharpness across the entire image. In case of any accidents or false claims, the smooth seamless video will protect and assist you, giving you more confidence on the road.

Bright Colour LCD Screen

While driving, the bright 2.4" colour LCD screen shows a live view of the road ahead. When safe to do so, you can also use it to watch previously saved videos - making it easy to examine events. Additionally, the DrivePro 200's built-in microphone comes in handy if you want to pick up sound during recording.

For extra convenience, the DrivePro 200 can be wirelessly operated by a passenger while the driver gets on with the task of driving. Simply download the free App, for Apple iOS or Android devices and connect to the DrivePro 200's dedicated wireless network. From here you can view live footage, adjust DrivePro 200 settings and download videos without having to take the memory card out.

Installing and operating the DrivePro 200 is easy.

After mounting on your windshield and connecting to your car's lighter socket, input the current time and you're done. Video files are automatically recorded to the included 16GB Transcend microSDHC memory card when you turn on the engine and start driving. When the engine is switched off, the DrivePro 200 will automatically save the current recording and power off.

Emergency Recording Mode

In the event of a collision, the DrivePro 200's motion G-Sensor will detect the impact and instantly trigger emergency recording mode. Emergency recording mode protects the current recording, including the critical seconds before the accident, from being overwritten. If other situations occur outside the vehicle, which may provide important information to insurance companies or police, press the accessible emergency button to manually activate emergency recording.

Reviews of Transcend 16GB Drive Pro 200 Car Video Recorder

11/11/2015 By David Matthews (United Kingdom)

Good build quality, very user friendly menu, excellent image quality even at low light. Best dash-cam i have used, and i have tried 3 previous ones. The message is you get what you pay for, not cheap but definitely good.

Suction cup mount not good- kept falling off screen, had to buy stick-on mount which was better but meant i had to buy two in order to transfer between vehicles. This bumped the price up significantly.

Quality build, very easy to use and navigate through the menu. Good image quality- conclusion is you get what you pay for. Head and shoulders above the cheper alternatives, and i have purchased the cheaper ones; two at around £16 lasted about a month or so each. Mid range such as ePrance are good at £50-£60 but the Drive Pro is by far the best yet. Definitely recommended, and worth buying the stick-on mount rather than the standard suction cup mount.

Bought two of these- suction cup mount was poor on one and repeatedly fell off the screen.
