This is ideal as a way to store a few Tb of data. I got a pair of the 5Tb ones because my old 4Tb disk was getting full, but in a way that would easily split two ways. I went about 40:60 across the two new disks and am happy with the outcome.

I’ve bought a few of these and they’re perfect. They write at usb3 speeds and they are - almost - 5TB. They’re also VERY small with only a single cable which plugs straight into ANY usb on my laptop, not just the powered usb. No separate power cable, no second usb plug needed. For me, it’s beyond perfect.

This is the 5th of these that I have purchased ranging from 1Tb to this 5Tb version. I use them to backup my laptop. everyone has been just what I need. good service excellent product. good value for money.
