Test Strips are convenient, accurate and safe to use. Each strip will
measure:
Total Chlorine
Having too little chlorine means your pool will be unsanitary and can develop algae.
Free Chlorine
Too much chlorine in the pool will sting your eyes, can damage your hair and is a skin irritant.
PH Level
PH and chlorine are interconnected, too low or too high PH levels result in skin and eye irritation along with cloudy water.
Total Alkalinity
The buffering capacity of the water in regards to PH - keeping PH levels stable.
Cyanuric Acid
Stabiliser for your chlorine - protects chlorine from the sun, allowing it to last longer.
Total Hardness
Water that is too soft can become cloudy or foamy, whilst water that is too hard will produce scaling and also affect the water clarity.
How to use
- Submerge strip under water to be tested for 2 seconds
- Remove strip and allow 15 seconds to elapse
- Compare the test strip with the chart on the bottle to see results
