SD card owners looking for a new compact digital camera may be interested in the latest offering from Panasonic.
The electronics firm has added to its already impressive range of Lumix devices with the DMC-FX77 digital camera.
Cnet.co.uk gave the Lumix its Editors’ Choice award, praising the camera’s focusing abilities as well as its intuitive touchscreen and said “the Lumix DMC-FX77 put in a good performance throughout our tests”.
Photographers could also be impressed by the compact’s 5x optical zoom that is provided by the f/2.5 Leica DC Vario-Summarit lens or the ability to shoot images in 3D.
The camera comes with 70MB of internal memory, meaning most people will want to purchase a new memory card to store their pictures on. Panasonic states the device is compatible with SD, SDHC and SDXC cards, so photographers should never be in the position when they need to stop to delete photographs before taking new ones.
