Apple’s iPhone update in September 2018 could see three new iPhones launched at the same time!
What will the new iPhones be called?
- 2nd gen iPhone X
- iPhone X Plus
- iPhone X SE
The second-generation version of the iPhone X will probably have the same 5.8-inch OLED display, while the “iPhone X Plus” will, as you can imagine, boast a much larger 6.5-inch OLED display. The iPhone X SE is rumoured to have a 6.1inch LCD display.
While the 2nd gen iPhone X and iPhone X Plus will be outfitted with all the bells and whistles, Apple is going to cut some features from the rumoured iPhone X SE, to keep costs as low as $550-$650 (£390-£460), yes you read it right, an iPhone for $550-$650 (£390-£460)! That device will have an aluminium frame instead of a stainless steel frame, and may not come equipped with wireless charging, it will have a single lens-rear camera, and the display may not support 3D Touch.
The high price point in 2017 was seen as incredibly premium by many users, making a decrease in the standard 2018 iPhone X seem more palatable.
Overall then, it looks like Apple fans have quite a lot to look forward to in 2018.
