In case you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that the official unveiling of the new flagship smartphone from Apple will be on 12th September at an event held at their newly built Steve Jobs campus.
The invitation has the tagline “Let’s meet at our place” and boasts a colourful picture of the Apple logo. It is believed that the company will reveal 3 phones, the iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus & the hotly anticipated iPhone 8/Edition/X.
The event is due to start at 10am Pacific Time, which translates to 6pm here in the UK.
The wide-screen iPhone 8 is believed to mark the tenth anniversary of the gadget and arrive with a number of eye-popping features.
It’s easy to get carried away and believe in every rumour circulating the internet, but the truth is, we won’t know what this new phone will officially boast until the actual event itself.
We previously wrote an article on all the leaks and rumours that are expected to make their way onto the iPhone 8 which you can read.
According to Forbes, the iPhone 8 might cost up from $1100 to $1200, which is much more expensive than the previous makes of the iPhone. Apple hasn’t officially released the price of the phone just yet, but if the rumors are true, this will be the first phone to ever cost more than one thousand dollars.
The updated iPhone 8 will launch alongside the iPhone 7 and 7+ models. Stay tuned for further updates.
