Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo has three versions on the Nintendo DS. There is the original NintendoDS released in 2004, the Nintendo DS Lite released in 2006 and the Nintendo DSi which is due to be released in spring 2009.

The Nintendo DS is slimmer, lighter version of the original Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS Lite has a dual screen action with Touch Screen interaction, providing the player with a unique gaming experience. It also includes a built in microphone and supports wireless communication technology, allowing gamers to join their friends in multiplayer games, or use the system's embedded PictoChat software to send messages and drawings to each other.

Nintendo has recently introduced the third version of the NintendoDS Nintendo DSi which will be available in Europe in spring 2009. The NintendoDSI is thinner than the Nintendo DS Lite, has a bigger screens, an SD card slot, AAC playback capability, and two cameras. It also has a DSi shop to download games, a voice morpher and an animation creator.
