Xbox 360 gamers can now play their online games on Xbox live with a dedicated gaming headset.
Mad Catz has released the world's first official co-branded headset designed specifically for Xbox gamers.
The Tritton Detonator headset features stereo sound, 50mm Neodymium drivers, selectable voice monitoring – which allows the gamer to filter out their own voice - and a detachable boom microphone.
Gamers looking for more than a headset can easily remove the microphone to allow the Tritton Detonator to be used as headphones for a variety of mp3 players.
The makers were exited to see how gamers will find the new accessory.
"Releasing a co-branded range of headsets has enabled us to offer an enticing feature set and quality audio which we are certain will appeal to the passionate gamer," said Darren Richardson, the president and chief executive officer of Mad Catz Interactive.
There are now more than 20 million Xbox live gamers, according to maker Microsoft.

Nintendo 3DS and PSP owners will be able to get their hands on a new beat 'em up in November.
Arc Systems has announced that BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 (BBCS2) will be released for the portable consoles on November 4th.
The maker says the fighter will feature two additional story modes which will make BBCS2 the most "most in-depth" single player story mode ever.
In addition, gamers will find all the previous downloadable content comes as standard, meaning characters such as Makoto, Valkenhayn and Platinum are instantly available.
As well as those three, 15 other characters, all with individual fighting styles, await the player's challenge in BBCS2.
BBCS2 features layered 2D graphics in a 3D environment which makes the 3DS version of the game truly unique.
The BlazBlue series is already available on multiple platforms but the developer has stated a version of the game will be compatible with Sony's new handheld device the PSPVita.

A new trailer has been announced for the forthcoming Lord of the Rings: War in the North video game.
The short film features three characters who will add their considerable prowess to the Fellowship: Andriel the Elf, Eradan the Human and Farin the Dwarf.
War in the North is an intense role-playing game that spans the mountains and forests of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth and developer Snowblind Studios promises an "innovative, online and independent" adventure where up to three players can make an alliance to take on the forces of the Dark Lord.
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Games for Windows from November 25th.
Fans of the books and films can already play as their favourite characters in the massive multiplayer online (MMO) game Lord of the Rings online which was the 2010 MMO of the year.
