Apple to unveil white iPad 2?28 February 2011 17:47:18
The upcoming unveiling of Apple's new iPad could see the manufacturer reveal a white version of the tablet computer, it has been claimed.
Although nearly all Apple's other products are available in either a black or white finish, the tech giant decided to release the original iPad 2 in just the former colour.
However, the latest iPad 2 rumours suggest that Apple has built a white version of the iPad's yet-to-be unveiled successor.
Photos have surfaced on the internet, via 9to5mac.com, which purport to show a white shell for the new tablet, including a hole for a front-facing camera.
Apple is expected to officially announce the iPad 2 at an event in San Francisco on Wednesday (March 2nd).
There have been many and varied speculations as to what features will be included on the new iPad.
Some of the most frequent iPad 2 rumours suggest it will be thinner than its predecessor with an improved display, as well as front-facing camera and Facetime video chat support.
Due Date out now on Blu-Ray28 February 2011 17:46:08
Today (February 28th) sees the release of the smash-hit comedy Due Date on Blu-Ray in the UK.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr as high-strung father-to-be Peter Highman, who is forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis), which turns out to be an eventful road trip.
Speaking to digitaljournal.com ahead of the film's Blu-Ray release, Galifianakis said he had a lot of fun working with Downey Jr, as well as the other stars of the movie.
"It was great. He's really cool, and we had a really cool time doing it. We hit it off. I also liked doing the movie with Jamie (Foxx), Michelle (Monaghan) and Juliette (Lewis), too," he told the news provider.
"(Director) Todd Phillips is really good at the art of casting movies. He really gets the best, most talented and the coolest people to work with. That's probably one of the main reasons his comedies are always so funny."
Galifianakis shot to fame after starring in The Hangover in 2009 and will also feature in the film's sequel when it is released later this year.
