Listen to Downloads whilst you Download24 June 2008 17:31:51
The latest accessory from Atech Flash Technology means you truly can use your iPod anywhere in the home.
Called the iCarta, it is an iPod docking station that is also a toilet paper dispenser. Not wanting to be seen as just another naff iPod accessory, the iCarta comes with 2 USB ports, built-in speakers, and of course a dock so you can charge your iPod whilst you go about your business.
Being a toilet paper dispenser the iCarta is going to come in for some ridicule amongst gadget fans, but the device does mean you can listen to your iPod whilst in the shower or bath without worrying about getting your precious little iPod wet. Who’s laughing now!.......ah ok, we still are.

Samsung Latest to Go Green20 June 2008 10:01:21
With so much attention focused on the plight of the earth, showing green credentials has become standard practice amongst businesses, and Samsung are the latest to join the revolution with the W510 and SGH-F268.
The W510 is termed as the Bio Cover Phone for its use of bioplastic material made from cornstarch and is manufactured using an environmentally-friendly metal finishing process. The SGH-F268 has been designed eliminating the use of brominated flame retardants and polyvinyl chloride. The phone comes with eco-friendly accessories and when charged the device alerts users to unplug the charger via an alarm function.
As well as being greener than your average handset, both come with the usual add-ons, including camera, video, Bluetooth, FM radio, and MicroSD slot. Both Samsung handsets are due for release in Asia this month, and we hope to see them later this year in Europe.

All the major players in the flash memory market were exhibiting, including Kingston, Sandisk and Lexar, as the manufacturers looked to expand their brand awareness and make their mark on a constantly growing Australian economy. Some talk suggested their was only so much space for the large number of flash memory vendors operating at present, but sales in Europe and Asia have proven this is not the case as memory cards continue to be a hit with customers.
