The Apple of Life18 December 2008 11:59:04
Uniross’s Latest Universal Battery Charger
After a few years, you end up with a lot of different makes of battery chargers. They aren't all the same and they all have their own chargers. It's easy in the beginning to stick to a brand, but technology evolves and better batteries are always coming out. That's what made Uniross imagine POM, the universal battery charger. Since it's in the shape of an apple, you better believe that it can recharge your iPods and iPhones!
POM comes from the French word pomme, which means apple. That's logical, since this universal battery charger is in the shape of an apple. POM accepts up to 8 batteries and also has a USB port so that it can recharge mobile phones, MP3 players and cameras. POM can recharge up to eight AA or AAA batteries at once
The shape that Uniross came up with is definitely pleasing to the eye. Most battery chargers are typically stuffed underneath a desk, right next to electrical outlets and power strips. While it's charging, orange lights appear. They blink until the charging cycle is complete. POM also comes with 4 rechargeable batteries. POM can be used at home or in your car. The manufacturer says that POM also consumes less energy while charging and enables you to save up to 1000 normal batteries.

Fable 2 to get digital download release?10 December 2008 12:47:29
Peter Molyneux has hinted that Fable II could be made available as a full digital release on Xbox 360.
The Lionhead Studios boss refused to confirm any concrete plans, but told GamesIndustry.biz: "I think it would be a great thing for this studio to work on."
Microsoft, which already offers full original Xbox titles for download via its Marketplace service, has never formally revealed intentions to make full retail 360 titles available, but industry watchers have long predicted this could happen later in the console's lifecycle.
