Following their success in our Unsigned competition Smith 6079 have gone from strength to strength with this weekends JerseyLive Music Festival adding to what has already been an incredible year for the band.

Through the competition and a lot of hard work the band have managed to secure a contract with Rocksector Records and will be releasing their first single, Kill Romeo, in September. At the same time MyMemory will be releasing limited edition Smith 6079 memory cards, preloaded with exclusive material and information on the band.

MyMemory has recently started supporting sport in the community, with the aim to increase funding over the next few years.

It began with our very own Chantelle Ward from the MyMemory team, who won gold and silver medals at the Rhodes 2007 NatWest Island Games this month. She took part in the ladies air rifle pair’s match, beating everyone in her path on her way to victory. Well done Chantelle!

MyMemory is also sponsoring the Jersey gymnastics team, who will be representing their Island in the Isle of Man this weekend. We wish them all the best of luck and hope they too come back with gold.
