Consumers may be tempted to get their hands on Dell Inspiron 14z laptop, which features a seven-in-one memory card reader.

This could ensure that people can easily transfer photographs and saved files between devices, while the manufacturer notes its specs include a 14-inch high-definition screen, a hard disk drive of up to 500 GB and an internal 1.3-megapixel webcam.

All this could prove tempting for those on the lookout for a laptop, something Joe Svetlik, writing for Cnet.co.uk, commented on.

"If you want an alternative to a MacBook Pro and don't want to join the queue at the Apple Store, this could well be what you're looking for," he said.

The writer noted that people will be able to choose from a black or red option, which may please those who find style an impact factor.

Another option for Dell fans could be the Vostro V131, which is available from around £359.
