New black Wii out for Christmas

New black Wii out for Christmas14 November 2011 14:35:02

Gamers looking to treat themselves this Christmas may be interested to know that Nintendo is releasing a new Wii bundle pack.

The Japanese gaming giant has announced that on November 18th, shoppers can buy a black version of the console that comes complete with the latest edition in the Mario Kart series and a black steering wheel accessory.

Nintendo states the package is not only extremely good value for money, but actually features a redesigned version of the console.

The new version is no longer compatible with Nintendo Gamecube products; however, it is capable of working with existing Wii accessories and is built to sit horizontally, rather than vertically.

Mario Kart Wii allows players to compete with up to 12 friends at the same time, meaning gamers may want to purchase more Wii controllers to ensure everybody can enjoy the party atmosphere during the festive period.

People who like the idea of the new black Wii, but want to stay in shape over Christmas, could opt for Nintendo's Wii fit bundle instead.  ADNFCR-2752-ID-801210297-ADNFCR
