Xbox 360 and PS3 owners looking for their next challenge may want to check out the new gameplay clips from Atlus.

The publishing company has released six clips that showcase some of the playable characters in its eagerly-anticipated new game King of Fighters (KOF) XIII.

Fighters such as Ryo, Robert, Vice and Iori are featured in the videos and gamers can see their spectacular special attacks, including the game's signature NEO MAX moves.

Atlus calls the videos the "best, most exciting glimpses yet of some of the fighters in KOF XIII".

Aram Jabbari, manager of PR and sales at the publisher, said the game will appeal to hardcore beat 'em up fans as it represents the best the genre has to offer.

KOF XIII will be available for console gamers to buy on November 22nd, but people can pre-order the game to receive the King of Soundtracks package, which features music from the franchise's history.
