Multi-in-one memory card reader offered by Acer Revo RL10016 June 2011 15:41:44

The new Acer Revo RL100 incorporates a multi-in-one memory card reader into its design, it has been revealed.

According to Acer America Corp, devices such as multimedia cards and secure digital cards can be supported by this reader.

The organisation also confirmed that the product will provide a total of three USB 2.0 ports to its users.

Acer Revo RL100 media centre users will be able to benefit from a "digital hub for a den or living room", the firm added.

It noted: "It connects to a flat-screen TV and comes with a dual-mode wireless touchpad/keyboard for smooth navigation."

When it comes to readers for memory cards, Cybernet recently confirmed that the ZPC-D5 product it offers will boast as many as four USB ports, along with a three-way reader.

The thickness of the new keyboard PC from the organisation is said to be smaller than one inch, with the device having a weight of 2.8 pounds.
