Star Wars Xbox 360 unveiled22 July 2011 15:09:26
Star Wars has released its fair share of games, spin-offs and merchandise over the years but never before have gamers been able to own a console that closely resembles R2-D2 and even makes his distinctive sounds.
All that is about to change as Microsoft is making a limited edition Xbox 360 available that will be based on the famous robot and his equally well-known sidekick C-3PO.
R2's colour scheme will be used for console, which will also boast 320 GB of memory, while the controller is a blend of gold and black in honour of his multi-lingual buddy.
The package, which is set to be made available in the US later this year, will also include a Kinect Star Wars game, a headset, a white Kinect and access to exclusive downloadable content.
Xbox 360 owners might also like to grab the Captain America: Super Soldier game, which is available now for the console.
