Headphones maker Shure has unveiled two new additions to its SRH range.
The new SRH550DJ and SRH940 models where revealed at the NAMM show in Anaheim, California.
Available from spring this year, Shure says that both new headphones feature superior sound and comfort, with outstanding build quality.
The SRH550DJs are designed for both DJ and personal listening use and feature full range frequency response, 50mm dynamic drivers and an adjustable, collapsible headband that swivels 90 degrees.
Meanwhile, the SRH940 headphones are designed for use in the studio and mixing, featuring highly accurate frequency response for tight bass and smooth, high end extension with minimal distortion.
"The Shure headphone line extends from the company's heritage and performance in the microphone and earphone market, enabling studio engineers, home recordists, performers, DJs, and audio enthusiasts to benefit from the professional quality sound that Shure is known for," said Matt Engstrom, category director for monitoring products at Shure.
It follows the recent announcement by Sennheiser that it is to release a new set of travel headphones, called the CXC 700s.
