JVC launch headphones with noise cancellation technology12 January 2010 13:47:03
A new model of noise-reducing headphones has been unveiled by JVC.
The new JVC HA-NC260 headphones were showcased by the electronics company at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas which came to an end this week (January 10th).
JVC claims its new product cancels 90 per cent of background noise as a result of feedback technology that constantly monitors the noise cancellation process.
The dual housing structure of each earpiece and JVC's technique for attaching the headphone's smooth memory foam cushioned ear pads to the housing further reduces noise, the manufacturer says.
According to JVC: "This makes them a fine choice for enjoying music, and also for minimizing distraction by environmental noise in order to relax or concentrate more effectively."
Other headphone makers to debut new products at this year's CES include Sennheiser which launched a new range of sports headphones for which it teamed up with Adidas to produce.
