Crysis 2 'identical on PS3 and Xbox 360'18 February 2011 15:30:08

The hotly anticipated PS3 and Xbox 360 game Crysis 2 looks identical on both consoles, it has been claimed.

Crysis 2 is due out on March 25th in the UK, but so far only trailers for the Xbox 360 version have been released.

However, speaking to thegamershub.co.uk, Nathan Camarillo of developer Crytek and the game's executive producer said that, other than a few key prompts, users would not be able to tell the Xbox 360 and PS3 version apart.

"The PS3 version runs the same as 360, 30 frames a second and in 3D, you know, everything. I don't know why EA chose not to show it off. I'm more than happy to show it," he said.

"It's all ready to go. It looks just like the 360 version. Other than the key prompts you wouldn't be able to tell the difference."

The first-person shooter game, which has been in development since 2007, will also be released on the PS3.
