Apple to unveil white iPad 2?28 February 2011 17:47:18
The upcoming unveiling of Apple's new iPad could see the manufacturer reveal a white version of the tablet computer, it has been claimed.
Although nearly all Apple's other products are available in either a black or white finish, the tech giant decided to release the original iPad 2 in just the former colour.
However, the latest iPad 2 rumours suggest that Apple has built a white version of the iPad's yet-to-be unveiled successor.
Photos have surfaced on the internet, via 9to5mac.com, which purport to show a white shell for the new tablet, including a hole for a front-facing camera.
Apple is expected to officially announce the iPad 2 at an event in San Francisco on Wednesday (March 2nd).
There have been many and varied speculations as to what features will be included on the new iPad.
Some of the most frequent iPad 2 rumours suggest it will be thinner than its predecessor with an improved display, as well as front-facing camera and Facetime video chat support.
