Tablets and smartphones 'will be popular this Christmas' 8 December 2011 15:39:48
SD cards could be perfect for people looking to buy a useful present for their friends or family members this Christmas.
Lucy Hedges, a technology journalist at Stuff magazine and the gadget presenter on the BBC's Something For The Weekend television programme, said that tablets and powerful smartphones will be popular Christmas gifts this year.
"Graphics are getting better, processors are getting faster and you're getting a handheld gaming experience for part of the price – that's amazing," Ms Hedges added.
The Kingston 8GB Micro SD (SDHC) Card - Class 4 micro SD card will provide plenty of storage capacity and comes with a handy SDHC Adaptor, meaning it can be used in a range of devices.
As well as SD cards for Android phones and tablets, people may want to buy accessories for the iPad, as Apple's tablet will also be a favourite with shoppers this festive period, stated Ms Hedges.
