SD card users can now download a range of apps that will enable them to pit their wits against a series of tests that assess their mental fortitude.

Creat Studios has partnered with scientists and psychologists at coaching centre Yord to produce the new titles.

The result is the Test Yourself range and the first two apps in the series Boost Your Intelligence and Boost Your Reactions are now both available to download.

Vladimir Starzhevsky, the company's chief executive, said that people are always intrigued to learn about themselves and find new things out.

"Our new game series gives folks a fun way to gauge where they stack up in society and offers ways to improve different elements of their brain," he added.    

PlayStation 3 gamers may be familiar with the games as they have been successful on the platform and have been downloaded many times since their release in September.
