Kinect Sports 2 to receive extra holes15 December 2011 15:16:40

Xbox Kinect players who have enjoyed the motion control fun that Kinect Sports: Season 2 has provided may be pleased to hear that Microsoft is providing further content for the game just in time for the Christmas period.

The software giant has announced that the Maple Lakes Golf Pack will be available to download from Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft points from December 20th.

Players who purchase the downloadable content will now be able to enjoy a full 18-hole round of golf, with the new holes on the back nine set in the stunning surroundings of coves, marinas and forts.

As well as the Maple Lakes pack, Kinect Sports: Season 2 will receive an update allowing gamers to take part in advanced multiplayer matches and improving the social network functionality of the game.

This comes after Microsoft recently announced that Kinect Sports players could be chosen to have a darts match with PDC world champion Adrian Lewis.
