Sony slashes PlayStation 3 price17 August 2011 15:30:38
Users of memory cards may be among those keen to get their hands on a PlayStation 3, which is now available for a lower price.
Sony Computer Entertainment today (August 17th) revealed that UK gamers will be able to purchase console - and its 160 GB hard disk drive (HDD) - for a recommended retail price of £199, down from the previous price of £249.
Alternatively, those keen to make use of a little more storage space might prefer to pick up the 320 GB HDD model, which is now down to £249 from £299.
"The new price will make the platform more accessible than ever and will appeal to a wider audience looking to buy the best entertainment system for their home," the software giant stated.
A wide selection of games are available for the console and those who enjoy being active might find the forthcoming Get Up And Dance, which promises "classic funky disco tracks" and new songs, worth a closer look.
