iPad 2 Gets an Unofficial CF Card Reader20 April 2011 10:38:51
As most iPad users will know, Apple’s official iPad Camera Connector Kit will get you going with SD Memory cards, but up until now there has been no other compatible card readers announced.
That all changed with the new MIC iPad Compact Flash Connector Kit. Exactly like the iPad SD Card Reader from Apple, the CF adaptor plugs straight into the iPad 2. Where you can then import data directly from the memory card onto the iPad’s storage. There’s even a USB port for hooking up cameras via a cable.
The iPad Compact Flash reader, which also works with the original iPad, will be available within the next month. A compulsory accessory for all DSLR users with an iPad.
