Replacing the MH1302-300, the new series II MH1312-300 ball head incorporates additional features to ensure that camera positioning can be made with even more precision whilst still retaining the rapid camera positioning associated with the Series I ball heads. As the smallest and lightest of the 1300 series MH1312 is a perfect fit for the MT travel tripods with its 50mm base diameter, and will fit on the MTL, but does not completely cover the 60mm top platform on those models.
