With the ever growing use of digital cameras and camcorders, with people wanting to capture every moment, there is a need for memory cards with new formats and higher capacities. Hama SDHC memory cards satisfy that need. Hama's Class 6 SDGC cards deliver a minimum transfer rate of 6MB/sec.

Although identical in size to today?s standard SD card, the new SDHC cards are designed differently and are only recognized by SDHC host devices. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDHC logo on cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).

- SecureDigital High Capacity Card (SDHC), corresponds to the new SD 2.0 standard
- Speed class 6 (minimal write speed: 6 MB/s)
- Data transfer rate: reads at max. 20 MB/s, writes at max. 10 MB/s (depends on the system)
- Only suitable for terminal devices with SDHC slot, e.g. digital cameras, camcorders (not downward compatible with standard SD cards)
- Mechanical write protection (against unintentional deleting)
