Details

The world's smallest router, the TL-WR702N is designed for use with tablets, smartphones, handheld game consoles and other portable electronic wireless devices. The device, which can be powered by an external power adapter or USB connection to a computer, can conveniently connect to the internet and share the connection around an average sized room at 150 Mbps. The device's tiny size makes it ideal for use on the road and is powerful enough to satisfy almost any basic wireless application requirement.

The TL-WR702N supports AP, Router, Bridge, Client and Repeater modes to enable various wireless applications to give users a more dynamic and comprehensive wireless networking experience, and provides WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryptions, which can effectively and efficiently protect the wireless network. What makes this nano router more powerful is the Pre-Encryption function which sets the initial SSID and password for users to protect their wireless security.

Pros
An excellent solution when travelling to places where access is by wire only. Enables phone, tablet and laptop to connect wirelessly. Great piece of kit.

Pros
This is fantastic for travelling, where enlightened folk supply a Cat5 port for internet. These ports are great for laptops, but no good for the current slew of portable devices. This tiny router does a fantastic job of providing WiFi without having to carry loads of kit. Don't leave home without it!

Cons
Ribbon cable for Cat5 is a great idea, but it is just a little short.

Pros
Quick and easy to set up.

Cons
Pocketable (my son has). May need to get another. Router, that is, not Son.
